About Me

Hello, I'm Vicky.

I'm a creative adventurous soul. I've always been arty and have turned my hand to many a craft over the years.

I have been drawing Elephant and Penguin for six years now, and enjoy making these beloved characters and seeing the joy they bring to others.

I also write and illustrate picture books, finally releasing my first one, with many more in the pipeline.

Though I love art, I have many other interests too.

I studied marine biology at university and love escaping to the sea. I have spent time in the jungles of Borneo, swimming with sharks, seals and turtles, and most recently taking on altitude sickness trekking to over 5500m to Everest Base Camp.

I love to paint and draw using sketchbook, pencils, pens, watercolour and acrylics, as well as drawing and editing on my iPad.

I sell my art in shops and online and welcome any opportunity to get out and about at craft fairs to show off my creations.
